Microfluidics 101 with Dolomite #3 Discovering Key Component - Chip
Microfluidics is defined as “the science and engineering of systems in which fluid behavior differs from conventional flow theory primarily due to the small length scale of the system”. Microfluidics deals with precise control and manipulation of fluids in micro and picolitre scales that are geometrically constrained to microfluidic devices with internal sizes ranging from approximately 1 to 1000 μm.
This free monthly series of webinar will focus on providing you with from the fundamental microfluidics mechanism to advanced knowledge of each key components of a microfluidics system and the application of this technology for the encapsulation and delivery of drugs, API and biological materials. The webinars will be delivered on every last Thursday of each month in 2021.
This #3 session will focus on a wide range of most popular microfluidic chips with different junction geometries, channel sizes and surface properties and how they are particularly suitable for specific applications.
